Teaching Philosophy
Singing is for everyone.
No matter how good (or bad) you think you are, everyone can improve their singing.
Singing can be a lifelong endeavor, and can be a rewarding activity at any age.
SINGING ALLOWS US TO EXPRESS OURSELVES IN A VERY PERSONAL MANNER.
Regardless of whether you aspire to be the queen of karaoke, a leading tenor at the Metropolitan Opera, or a more confident singing member of your religious institution's congregation, there is something for everyone in singing.
IN TEACHING SINGING, I BELIEVE IN:
helping students achieve their goals, as well as broadening their perspective and knowledge;
providing students with a safe, supportive environment in which to learn how to use their voice most effectively;
- building a healthy technique that will keep a student's voice healthy for as long as they wish to continue singing.
